He was responsible for many of the hundreds of miles of roads paved throughout Union County during his tenure as Union County Sole Commissioner. 5. The Glenn Gooch By-Pass, connecting HWY 515 to HWY 129 South was brought about under his tenure and named in his honor by the State of Georgia after leaving office.
